INSIDE THE WOODSHOP — WARREN, RI

In the small town of Warren, Rhode Island, craftsmen and women haul in raw planks of cherrywood to saw, sand, stain, and craft into Ergatta Rowers. Each rower is crafted by several hands, each bringing unique expertise, careful precision, and deep pride to their work.

Partnered with Ergatta, WaterRower has spent the last 34 years refining their craft. To keep up with expanding demand, everything from the factory layout to the turn of the hand has been optimized to deliver the highest-quality handcrafted product at scale. And since Ergatta’s Spring 2020 launch, two separate factory buildings now stand, buzzing with woodworkers hard at work to keep up with demand.

I bought the rower for the open row feature but am quickly getting into the intervals and push programs. The tutorials are excellent.

Pain-free daily exercise

I have had long-term injuries from a car crash and couldn't exercise hard enough without causing immense pain (running, elliptical, weights, stair stepper - everything hurt). I am now able to exercise daily with Ergatta pain-free! I feel stronger, and better about myself so far. I look forward to working out now that I have this machine in my life.
